Lovely Carlingford escape! 🇮🇪

Had an absolute jol staying here! The room was super comfy, felt like a lekker bush lodge experience. The brekkie was just stunning, proper full Irish with great chat from the hosts. Peter even shared stories from the old OYC days, which was a lekker surprise!

Only downside was the lack of a simple self-serve brekkie option due to the bad weather, just thought they could've had some bread or cereal on hand.

Hosts were friendly and cute to us. We even got to chat about sightseeing spots and local restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, a full Irish fry-up that was the best I’ve tasted, with nice touches like fresh fruit and homemade preserves.

Had a fab time here! The hosts were super chill and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a treat, fresh fruits and the best fry-up! The room was warm and cozy, with the softest towels. Only slight hiccup was the shower took a bit to heat up. Still, a lovely place to relax and unwind.

I adored the dual aspect windows in my cozy Standard Double Room! 🌞 One glance offered a breathtaking view of lush green hills while the sunlight danced through. The tasteful decor truly captured the character of this lovely historic house, making my stay feel special.

The lack of breakfast options was a letdown. there’s no on-site meal service, so it feels a bit barebones for a place that calls itself a BnB. The nearby road could be noisy at times, which interrupted the otherwise peaceful vibe. The guest lounge seemed a bit underwhelming, lacking any inviting decor or comfortable seating, making it less appealing to relax in.
